At the high school level there is a 7-1 ratio of college coaches to campers and at the youth level that ratio is even better! This type of ratio allows the coaches tremendous flexibility to adjust on the fly. Because of this fact, please view the schedule and teams as a guide for what the day will look like. The college coaches end up changing the drills in the schedule each year based on what drills they think will most benefit a particular group of players. At the high school level you can expect teams to be broken in half at times, and even players asked to change teams within the duration of camp to make things more competitive. So essentially, the schedule is not gospel. The schedule is just a general guideline and fair warning, the coaches will deviate from it. This camp is small enough that your player's jersey number will be sufficient for all involved to identify the player readily. In other words, when you have the best staff in the country at your camp, you don't micromanage them!
Parents and Players,
We are excited to have you participate in our 16th annual Holiday Lacrosse Camp. Our 15 NCAA College Coaches are already planning for a fantastic camp. Our camp dates and times are listed below and the camp is located on the campus of Jesuit College Preparatory School, 12345 Inwood Road Dallas, TX 75244.
More to come on camp teams and schedules on Friday!
What Does My Camper Bring To Camp?
Parking: The main parking lot will be open and there is additional parking South of Willow Road (Anderson Lot). I have attached a map to this email showing where additional public parking is located. Either parking lot is equidistant from the concession stand where you will check in.
Camp Check In:
Check in will begin at 8:15 AM for youth campers and 12:15 PM for high school campers on Saturday, December 17th. We will check in players all day on the first day of camp to accommodate all of those players that are arriving from out of town. We will hold a check in 20 minutes prior to camp for those that cannot arrive until Sunday before each session. You only need to check in on your first day. Camp check in will take place at the concession stand which is located directly under the score board at the South end of the stadium (see campus map below). Campers will check in by their last name. Each camper will have a pre-assigned jersey which will be distributed at check in. Do not trade camp reversibles. There will be a sticker on your players jersey with his name, grade, jersey number and team name. Please place this sticker on the visor of his helmet for the duration of camp. After camp check in campers will put their equipment on and go to the stadium turf for our warm up.
Fields We Will Use During Camp:
We will utilize the stadium turf, grass fields and baseball outfield (this is a turf field) on the Jesuit campus. See attached map.
Camp Structure:
We will have a daily schedule available for parents and it will be sent out on Friday morning for day 1.
Bathrooms:
There is a bank of bathrooms adjacent to the concession stand. Campers and parents are welcome to use the east bank of bathrooms.
Reminder To Our High School Parents:
Please do not be offended if coaches do not respond to you if you speak to them due to NCAA rules.
Reminder to Our High School Players:
Remember that this camp is very unique. It’s a small setting and there will be a lot of interaction with the coaches. Be on your best behavior, be respectful and give it 110%.
Camp Schedule Reminder:
This is a 2 day camp that is broken down by grade so that all of our campers get access to the college coaches.
Saturday December 17th 2022:
Sunday, December 18th 2022:
Safe travels to all of our out of town campers, may your flights be on time and your bags arrive safely! If you need to reach anyone in the next few days please text Tiffany Surran at 214-392-8919 or email tiffany@deuceslax.com.
Merry Christmas,

Dear Parents and Players,
Day 2 schedules for both High School and Youth are below and here are some camp reminders:
Regards,
Tiffany Surran
Dear Player's and Parents,
Thanks so much for attending the 16th annual Holiday Lacrosse Camp! It's one of our favorite events of the year! So many of you have come every year since you were in first grade and its so fun to get to see you grow up on the lacrosse field. The college coaches had a great time coming down to Dallas. Many of these same coaches have been coming to the event for YEARS! Keep working on your game and we hope to see you again next year!
I included our 2022 all camp picture and our coaches picture in the email below. Coach Wellner from Notre Dame was still giving the recruiting talk and Coach Rogalski from Michigan was helping his son who attended camp and missed the camp pic (you can see him between Coach Caputo (Duke) and Coach Corrado (Villanova) haha. Thanks once again to our fantastic Alum Photographer Suzanne Moran for taking the pics!
There is a small lost and found this year and if you would like to text me to claim your item you can do porch pick up in North Dallas (214) 392-8919. We have a grey Bridge Lacrosse sweatshirt and Navy AL Nike sweatpants pictured at the bottom of the email.
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Happy Holiday's!
From Chris and Tiffany Surran and The Entire Holiday Lacrosse Camp Staff
