Stan | Ross | Head Coach | Florida Launch | MLL |
Stan Ross the Head Coach for the MLL Florida Launch has this to say about the Deuces Holiday Camp:
"Over the last 20 years I've coached on the college level, the high school and the professional level, over that time I've worked a lot of lacrosse camps. The Dallas Deuces Holiday camp is the best run instructional camp that I've seen in the last couple of years. I can't tell you the last time there were this many college coaches together teaching the game of lacrosse at one camp.
If you are a lacrosse player and want to be coached and seen by the best coaches in the game, the Dallas Deuces Holiday camp is the place".
Brendan Dawson, the head coach for Division 3 Widener University has this to say about the Deuces Holiday camp:
“I’ve been lucky enough to have worked the Dallas Deuces Holiday Camp since year one. It is, by far, my favorite camp. Not only do we get work with talented young men who want to learn the game and make personal improvements – but as a coach, I always walk away with new drills that I can use with my own team. The level of knowledge that the coaching staff possesses amazes me and makes me a better coach (while making the players better) every year.”
Jack Sandler the head coach of Division 3 Colby College writes:
"The Dallas Deuces Holiday Lacrosse camp is one I look forward to every year. Getting to truly teach the campers is something that has become lost at other camps but is so vital to the development of future All-Americans. The proven level of coaches at the Holiday Camp is unmatched, I find myself leaving each year with a new drill or way to teach a skill!"
The Holiday Lacrosse Camp is a teaching and instructional camp being offered at University of Texas Dallas (UTD), Dallas, TX. NCAA Coaches, make up a staff dedicated to helping each camper reach their full potential. The intent of the camp is to expose Texas players to a very high level of coaching without having to spend lots of money travelling back to the east coast. Every year we have campers at the high school and youth level that are now flying into Dallas from the hotbed lacrosse areas of the country to attend camp.
As the camp approaches, we will have updates on our current staff in the staff section of the Deuces website as the camp approaches see 2013 camp staff below. In the past our staff has consisted of coaches from Syracuse University, Penn State, Army, Yale, Duke, Cornell, Colgate, Salisbury State, Limestone College, Washington and Lee, Butler, Brown, Amherst College, Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland, Bates College, Virginia Military Institute, Skidmore College, Providence College, Dickinson College, Stony Brook University, Notre Dame, UNC, Navy, Air Force, Army, Providence and more. We are committed to providing you the most experienced camp staff possible.
We have designed a program that emphasizes individual and positional skills training taught in a fun environment. The program also exposes each Camper to fundamental offensive and defensive team concepts which are integral to a players complete development. Players are broken down by age and, at the youth camp, separate instruction is provided to beginner players with no lacrosse experience. Separate goalie and faceoff instruction will also be provided at this year’s camps. We look forward to seeing you at this year’s Holiday Camp so that we can continue to bring the east coast lacrosse camp experience to you.
DALLAS, TX CAMP WILL BE HELD AT University of Texas Dallas (UTD) Dallas, TX
