Dear Parents and Players,
Coach Surran and I received a lot of compliments on the boys today on their grit and hustle in adverse conditions. If our high school campers are eventually recruited to play college lacrosse, then they will be playing in conditions like today ALOT in college so its important to hear our Texas boys can compete in the elements.
We took the 6th/7th graders outside for a few games and the high school players also played outside tonight until the lightening detectors went off. We took the high school boys inside and rotated them between stations when we realized the lightening detector was going to go off for a while. They can tell you about the stations tonight but they consisted of box games, film breakdown, seal training and a leadership/recruiting talk.
Please note the general schedule for tomorrow. The high school camp is from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and the youth camp is from 11:15 am to 2:15 pm.
The full schedule is attached and also available on the website HERE.
I wanted to highlight a few things in the schedule for tomorrow. There are leadership and recruiting talks for parents at the beginning of both sessions tomorrow in Hughes Hall inside the school. Enter through the athletic entrance (near the blue JESUIT neon sign) and walk straight down the hall. There will be people to point you in the right direction.
Also there will be a camp pic where we hope to capture both HS and youth campers at the end of the youth and beginning of the high school camp.
Great job and attitude today and we are excited to see you tomorrow.
