We are proud to announce that the Division I Powerhouse Lacrosse Program, UNC Lacrosse, is returning to Austin, TX this June for our annual Summer Camp presented by Texas Heat Lacrosse!
This camp with UNC Lacrosse is renowned for its ability to positively impact lacrosse players both on and off the field. Led by UNC Lacrosse Coach Brian Holman, the entire staff emphasizes mentoring campers to become better young men while also focusing on critical lacrosse-skill development. The result is an exciting, encouraging, and positive environment suitable for all players.
“Thank you Jamie and UNC coaches/players! And thanks for all the positive life elements to the program. My son is competitive and loves to play, but I appreciate the fact that you drilled home the bigger picture. He is still young enough to listen to his dad, but having esteemed gentlemen like you all instill those messages goes a long way. I look forward to getting him (and possibly my youngest) out there this summer when you return.”
- ML (Parent)
“I just spent an hour on the phone with my son. It was the best conversation I have ever had with him. He loves your camp and I had the pleasure of hearing play by play all of his accomplishments. I cannot thank you enough for the positive reinforcement you have given him and how that has truly energized his desire to do well. Based on my son’s feedback, your camp has more than met our expectations.”
“This is my favorite camp. Every year I go to a couple of camps but this is always my favorite because I always have the most fun here and learn a lot of new things from the UNC players.”
“Our son had an awesome experience at the UNC camp in Dallas last summer! The players and coaches were wonderful with the kids. That is why we decided to drive 4 hours to Austin to attend the UNC camp in Austin.”
– ML (Parent)
“I cannot begin to express how impressed I was with the fine young men from UNC that worked the camp. They exemplify everything you look for in college athletics. You guys are obviously doing great things at Chapel Hill.”
– Tom (Coach)
**Notice** This day camp is for boys’ lacrosse players only. Players will need to bring all the equipment as required by rule to play their position including stick, helmet, arm/elbow pads, gloves, shoulder pads/chest protector, protective cup, cleats/athletic shoes, and mouthpiece. Players will also need to bring their own lunch, as well as a water bottle.
For camp insurance reasons we ask that each camper be a member of US lacrosse. There are lots of benefits to being a US Lacrosse Member, including liability insurance, a free Lax Magazine subscription, and more. Membership only costs $25 and the vast majority of youth lacrosse players in the US are enjoying the benefits of being a US Lacrosse Member.
