7 Jesuit Lacrosse Seniors Commit to Respective NCAA Schools

Jesuit Early Commitment Day: November 14th 2012

On November 14th 2012, seven (7) Jesuit Lacrosse players committed to their respective universities to play NCAA lacrosse.  

Dan Morris, Goalie committed to NCAA Division 1 University of Maryland
Christian Carson Banister, Goalie committed to NCAA Division 1 Boston University
Garrett Van de Ven, Middie committed to NCAA Division 1 Duke University
Hunter Hill, Defense committed to NCAA Division 1 Air Force Academy
Zach Coker, Attack committed to NCAA Division 1 Furman University
Sam Rosengarden, FO/Middie committed to NCAA Division 1 Jacksonville University
Carson Buell, Middie committed to NCAA Division 2 Rollins College

Coach Chris Surran had this to say about his players, "I am really proud of these young men. Their hard work and determination has given them the opportunity to play lacrosse for some of the best colleges and universities in the country. Congratulations to them and their families".  This is the first senior class that has played for the Deuces.  The current senior class at Jesuit played for Deuces in their 8th grade season only as that was the first year that we had Deuces teams at the 7/8 grade level.  During their 8th grade year they made it to the North Texas Youth Lacrosse League (NTYLL) Championship game.
