Come cheer on former Deuces and Jesuit player Drew Goethals!

From Press Releases:

Bellarmine has two Freshman starters from the area - Drew Goethals and Connor Harryman--- Goethals, a Dallas Jesuit product has been a starter all season.  He was coached by former Syracuse National Championship and MVP-winning goalie Chris Surran. Jesuit was a runner up in the state championship last year (losing to local team ESD 9-4).

The Knights roster also features former Southlake Dragon Connor Harryman, a freshman midfielder and face off specialist.  Harryman was a large contributor to a Dragons team that reached the Elite Eight in the state finals last year with both his goal-scoring and face-off skills.  Harryman took 100% of the faceoffs in their last game at Mercer.

Knights sophomore midfielder Dylan Sprock is on the mend.  Sprock, a long-stick middie, attended Liberty Christian and twice earned All-State honors playing for Flower Mound High School and was selected as Texas’ Defensive MVP and earned a state title in 2013.

For Air Force, Freshman attackman Nick Hruby, from Coppell, has made an immediate impact for Air Force and is second in team in goals.  He is joined by his brother Senior Nate. Both players were midfielders for Coppell where they won a State Championship together in 2011.  Each earned All State and All American designations as well.

They are joined on the Falcons roster by sophomore Barrett Anigian, a midfielder who played locally for the Episcopal School of Dallas where he was a 3-year starter and 2-year captain.

In addition to helping promote top-level lacrosse and showing the lacrosse community the growth of the sport in our area, proceeds from the game will help the Bridge Lacrosse – an organization dedicated to teach teamwork and developing character by introducing lacrosse to non-traditional urban communities via after-school and summer programs.
