All,
Wear your sneakers today and bring your cleats in your lacrosse bag. Bring a towel and change of clothes as well in a water tight bag inside your lacrosse bag. See everyone at the new times today. If we start inside there will be people directing you where to go.

Camp Update 2: Sent at 8:20 pm on 12/20 TIME CHANGES TOMORROW!!

Time Changes Tomorrow!  Youth Campers were told this at the end of the camp day today.  High School campers will be told as well:

All,

Because the forcast tomorrow calls for storms in the morning, the coaches would like to push back the start time for camp to the following that will affect mainly the youth camp times, but also push back the high school camp by one hour.  As I said, we can take the camp inside but keeping it outside if possible will help the players maximize their camp experience.

The youth camp on Saturday will now run from:

11:00 am to 2:00 pm

The High School camp on Saturday will now run from:

3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Regards,

Tiffany

Camp Update 1: Sent 12/20 @ 2:05 pm

All,

I get a lot of calls on check in day and I'm sorry I can't answer my phone. We are at the field all day setting up.

1. Most frequently asked question of the day: Do we have camp in inclement weather? YES! We have access to all of Jesuit's facilities indoor and out. If we have to move in we will move in. High School boys will absolutely stay outside unless there is lightning. Please see the welcome letter about bringing tennis shoes and a change of clothes.

2. Expect another email from me later tonight about the possibility of changing the schedule tomorrow. Why? the coaches want to make the best of coaching everyone and we are expecting the possibility of thunderstorms in the morning.

3. Updates can also be found on the home page of the website. I will post everything I send out in an email on the slideshow. Also you can follow @dallasdeuceslax on twitter.

Regards,
Tiffany

This email will go out again on Thursday of this week, the day before camp starts just as a friendly reminder.

Check-In:

I know we have many people traveling from out of town at the high school level so check-in will be going on during the entire camp on the first day and then anyone that does not check-in on day one can follow these same instructions to check in on day 2 at the beginning of camp.  If you can, please try to arrive 30 minutes prior to camp. Check in will occur in front of the new concession stand at the south end of the stadium.   At check-in, there will be four tables set up that will be labeled by graduation year.  Please check-in according to your graduation year.  You will get a reversible when you check in which you will need to wear each day at camp.  Please do not trade reversibles as this is the reversible that you are assigned for camp.  You will also find out what camp team you will be placed on and what station you will start at when you check-in.  You only need to check-in on the first day of camp unless you were not present on the first day of camp. Attendance will be taken at the field on days 2 and 3.

Filming of Camp Games:

We are not having any games filmed, however, we welcome you to come out and film the games for your player.  We will post a game schedule for each team on the home page of the Deuces website www.deuceslax.com the night before each camp day.

Athletic Trainer:

We have an athletic trainer on staff for our camp.  If you have a medical issue and need to speak with him prior to camp, please see him at check-in. He will have a list of the medical issues from the individual registrations, i.e diabetes, allergies, etc.

Talking to College Coaches:

This is just a friendly reminder that college coaches are not allowed to speak with parents as per the NCAA rules.

Equipment Bags and Weather:

The best area to leave your equipment bags during the camp is at the South side of the stadium under the score board on the hill.  Please do not leave your bags on the track.  Weather:  We keep the high school boys out unless we have to absolutely go in because of lightening.  We have access to all of Jesuit's indoor athletic facilites and gyms so you will want to pack tennis shoes in a water tight bag.

Restrooms:

Restrooms are located on the south end of the stadium near the concession stand. The east wing will be open during camp, however, the west wing will remain locked.

Water:

We will have water available during the camp day, but we highly encourage you to bring your own.

Shopping:

For those of you that are coming in from out of town, Jesuit is located a mile from the Galleria Shopping area.  One of the premier shopping locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex!
